Background:
Marjorie has been teaching Histology and Embryology to Biology students at Brown University since 1981. In 1990, she began crafting these "Biologically Correct" pins as a device for instruction, and with inspiration provided by design in nature. The line was later expanded to include Biological Clocks. She has a Certificate in Scientific Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and has worked for decades as a freelance part time biomedical illustrator.
